« A- TOURISTIQUES SITES 1/
HAOUZIA BEACH: Community of the Haouzia, Circle of the Azemmour,
accessible by the CT 1392 starting from El Jadida. It starts from the
embouchure of the Oued Oum Er-Rabia until the city of El Jadida (16
Kms). Fin sand, limpid water and a bit deep according to the exposure
to the wind.
2/ EL JADIDA BEACH: Municipality of El Jadida,
city beach. It spreads over 3 Kms from which two are kept and equipped
(Sanitized, Cabins, volley court …) fin sand, clear water and a bit
deep, protected (bay) .
3/ SIDI BOUZID BEACH: Commune Moulay
Abdellah, circle El Jadida, accessible by the RS 121 (road of oualidia)
3kms to the South of El Jadida. It spreads over 2 Kms. Fin and
golden sand, limpid and cold water, equipped (Sanitized), protected
(Clique).
4/ SIDI MOUSSA: Commune of Ouled Aissa circle El
Jadida, spreads over some 4 Kms and lying on the lagoon accessible by a
path of 3kms starting from the RS 121. Point kilometrique 40, fin sand,
clear water, exposed on the Atlantic side and protected from the lagoon
side. Still virgin beach.
5/ OUALIDIA BEACH: Commune of
Oualidia, circle of Zemamra. It spreads over 3 kms along the lagoon,
accessible via tarred road and of a good shape starting from the RS
121, fin sand and very clean, limpid and cold water, secured swim, well
equipped and all water Sports are practiced there.
6/ PAYSAGE
M’HIOULA: Commune of Haouzia, circle of the Azemmour, accessible by the
CT 1318. Panoramique view on the vergers of orange trees that are along
the left side of Oum Er-Rabia. This site is characterised by a
micro-climate favoured for cardiac people.
7/ PAYSAGE D’OUM
Er-RABIA: Entrance to the city of Azemmour, straight borders, view of
the reflection of the Portuguese city on the water of Oum Er-Rabia.
B- HISTORICAL MONUMENTS :
1/
PORTUGAISE CITY: City of El Jadida, Portuguese fortress founded in the
16th century in 1524, on the site called Breija. It constitutes a very
important edifice and it is well conserved. It was evacuated in 1769.
2/
CITY OF AZEMMOUR: Situated at17 kms in the North of the city of El
Jadida, on the left rive of Oum Er-rabia, it is an ancient city founded
by the Princes of Sanhaja when the barbers got their independence. In
1513, the Portuguese took it and transformed all the sides before they
knew its independence at the time of the Sultan Saadien El Abbas E l
Aerej.
3/ LE TIT: Situated at 14 kms to the South of El
Jadida, this city was built in the 12th century by the Amgharienne
family. Its one of the ribat the most interesting in Morocco on the
level of architecture. The fortifications always existent made the
witnesses of a prestigious historical past. It is the place where the
Moussem Moulay Abdellah is celebrated.
4/ KASBAH OF
BOULAOUANE: Its founder is the sultan Abdelmoumen Ben Ali El Mouahidi;
it was settled by some people whom deeply liked to work on land. It had
known the presence of the Portuguese during a certain period before the
Sultan Moulay Smail took to settle his military to control the Berbere
tribes.
5/ KASBAH OF OUALIDIA: Its founder is El Oualid Ben
Zidane Saadi, but the truth is that he remanded it after the departure
of the des Portuguese, for the surveillance of the cotes of Doukkala.

Zaouia Tounoussia: It is in the El Aounate, at 20 kms from the center
of the Arbae El Aounate, on the road of Rhamna on top of a dune opened
on the dried river, accessible by the CT 2344 the Arbae El Aounate or
the CT 1347 of Sidi Bennour. This Zaouia was founded basically on some
verbal history, during the reign of Sultan Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah
between 1728 and 1757 by Fkih Tounssi Ben M’Barek El Aouni, but the
Zaouia had known its start in the time of the Fkih Tounssi Ben M’Barek.
It includes also: a/ EL Maksoura: A classroom and prayers room b/ A unit of rooms to host students whose number sometimes exceeded the hundreds. c/ Library: Alimented the Zaouia by books from different sciences linguistics, koranics …… d/ The Sultan Moulay Slimane’s house: where his two sons live during their studies.
7/ CITY OF GHARBIA: It is situated at 20 Kms from Oualidia, on a flat plain. It is a historical city which contains 3 gates: the gate of Marrakech on the East the gate of Safi on the South the gate of Oualidia on the Ouest. On
each gate, there is a bastion and on each rampart there are 3 Bastions.
This city was founded by the tribe of Doukkala before or at the
beginning of Islam. It is by the CT 1336 starting from the Oualidia o
from the Zemamra via Tnine Gharbia on the RS 9. » |
